Ana Plamenita‘s first appearance was on 13th of June 2009 at the Ljubljana Castle, and in the years to come the festival also brought to light the embankments of the Ljubljanica and Gradaščica rivers, a courtyard of a mansion in Moste, the Šišenski hrib Hill, and Špica.
From 2013 to 2016, festivals of night and fire under the name of Ana Plamenita of Maribor also took place in Maribor, organized by Hiša! society and Narodni dom Maribor.
