The project of the neighborhood theater Art Yard, the purpose of which is to use contemporary performative street arts as a tool for building or strengthening the community of residents, was implemented this autumn in Kašelj in Ljubljana (October 10-15).
For the project, we connected with the members of the Public Institute Mladi zmaji and their Community Center BORC, and we prepared a 6-day program that included: an opening procession, a chat room, a chess tournament, an exchange room, a workshop for making furniture from pallets, a street show and a neighborhood chestnut tree picnic, which was supplemented with fun, social and artistic content.
