Nasprotje Enega

Teatro Pachuco / Cie. Giolisu (BEL)

The performance is intended to be a poetic act in the urban space. The starting point is the public bench: place of rest and meetings. It is a physical place that welcomes loneliness, which brings people together or rejects them, which can become a point of reference, a home for some, which can be an opportunity to establish unexpected dialogues in our silent cities.

Artist defend committed creations, accessible to a wide audience and work with the aim of speaking out in response to today’s world. Movement is their tool and the body a space of unexpectedness and surprise for them and for the spectators. Dance on the one hand and theater on the other, allow a deep relationship with one’s own body, require listening to oneself. Dance requires letting go, calls into question one’s own usual landmarks. Combined with theatrical language, it makes a story readable, which starts from the intimate to become universal.
